Tomas is Assistant Professor in English and Creative Writing at Northeastern University London, where he writes and lectures on English literature, film, and creative writing. He has authored several articles for academic books and journals, including Humanities, Frames Cinema Journal, Adaptation, and Classical Receptions. He specialises in world literature and cinema, and has taught classes in screenwriting, dramatic writing, and publishing. He also works as a translator and recently completed the first English translation of The Limit of the Useful by French philosopher Georges Bataille, published by MIT Press.
