In the exclusive and historic environment of Keble College at the University of Oxford, study the art and craft of writing with a top-class team of authors, editors, and educators. Craft seminars each morning give you the tools to tell your story. One-on-one sessions in the afternoon cultivate your personal development as a writer. INCLUDES – Accommodation in illustrious rooms at historic Keble College, University of Oxford – All meals in college: breakfast & lunch in the college dining hall, dinner in the luxurious Senior Common Room, usually reserved for university lecturers & fellows – Seminars every morning on the craft of writing taught by authors, book coaches, and creative writing professors – One-on-one mentorship sessions every afternoon giving tailored advice on your manuscript and publishing goals – Drinks, readings, and fellowship every night in the Keble college bar – Curated programme of events and cultural excursions throughout the city and university of Oxford, including private tours of museums, the historic Bodleian Library, food and wine masterclasses, rare books and archival tours – Pre- and post-workshop check-in sessions to ensure accountability and ongoing progress – Guest lectures and talks from published authors and industry professionals SCHOLARSHIPS At BookGo, we believe that talent should never be limited by circumstance. That's why we are incredibly excited to be able to offer a small number of scholarships to support writers who would otherwise be unable to join us for the Oxford Writers Workshop. One full scholarship is awarded each year to a writer working on their first book of any kind or their first memoir. This fully funded place — worth $7,000 — covers accommodation, tuition, and all programme activities at Keble College, Oxford. We are also able to offer a highly limited number of partial scholarships worth $1,000. Scholarship applications due 31 May 2026. Cancellation Policy
A $1,000 deposit is required to reserve your spot. The entire balance is due 60 days before the retreat’s start date. Payments can be made via credit card or wire transfer. Payments within 60 days must be made in full. All payments are nonrefundable. You may transfer your reservation to another person up to 30 days in advance or transfer your balance to another future workshop date. In the case of force majeure, in which we are unable to safely run the retreat, your balance will be transferred to a future workshop of your choosing.
